You've seen it all over Instagram. Pearls on pearls on pearls.
This is one trend that didn't immediately feel like 'me'. I can appreciate the prettiness, but as I don't categorise my style as particularly girly, I wasn't sure if this trend was for me and so I appreciated from afar.
But as I saw more and more ways of styling these clips - I was inspired. I love how it adds a touch of something extra to minimal outfits like a crisp white shirt and jeans. Plus, it's a great way to elevate an outfit without having to spend too much (something I am trying to do).
Where to purchase
- Finerrings - A beautiful Instagram aesthetic from Melbourne, they predominantly make very dainty jewellery, think stackable rings and minimal bracelets. But have added pearl and acrylic hairclips to help support the growing demand.
- Shein - Now, Shein is not something I would normally recommend. They do have some questionable reviews on clothes and I'm not sure the quality is all that, but they are priced very affordably (so you pay for what you get?). I have only ever ordered earrings from Shein once before, and to be honest, they were great! I knew they wouldn't last forever, but that comes with the price. Shein has some great options for hairclips, for those of you that want to buy into the trend but don't want to break the bank doing so.
- Pixie Market - I love Pixie Market! As well as a beautiful selection of hair accessories, they are also a brand I love to browse for inspiration.
- Reliquia - Reliquia is a brand that I discovered last year when I was looking for gold jewellery. They have quickly become one of the favourite brands and it's easy to see why. Now they have added hair accessories to their collection and I would love to own one of their pieces.
